Our family-owned and operated sanctuary is located just 90 minutes outside the city centre of Chiang Mai – if you visit us we provide door-to-door service and will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation.

About Us
Hug Elephant Sanctuary is a family owned and operated elephant sanctuaty in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our beautiful camp is located approximately 45mins outside the city centre.
At Hug Elephant Sanctuary, we are committed to ethical operations. We work hard to ensure we share our love equally amongst everyone involed. This includes the elephants and their caretakers, the community, the environment, and you – our guests.

Activity
- Drive approximately 1 hour South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas to arrive at Hug Elephant Sanctuary
- Meet your local guide and learn about the behaviour and history of elephants
- Feed and interact with elephants in their natural home
- Mud bath with elephants
- Say goodbye to the elephants, change clothes and walk to the waterfall for swimming
- Walk back to camp for a delicious Thai meal
- Drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai and drop off at your accommodation.
Arrive back at your hotel or guesthouse

Activity
- Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas to arrive at Hug Elephant Sanctuary
- Meet your local guide and learn about the behaviour and history of elephants
- Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in their natural home as you learn about their behaviour and history (Trekking with elephant for 1 hr)
- walk and drop on the elephant trail top hill with very beautiful scenery. Take photos with the elephants.
- Enjoy a lunch of Thai food and fresh fruit.
- Take a walk to the river, mud spa and bathe elephants
- Go to waterfall enjoy your swim
- Change clothes.
- Leave the Hug Elephant Sanctuary and return to Chiang Mai.

TWO DAY @ Hug Elephant Sanctuary
- ADULT : 4,600 Baht
- Minimum 2 Persons
- Pick up Time 08:00-08:30 am.
- Arrive at Hug Elephant and meet your local Thai quide.
- Learn about the behavior and history of elephants.
- Feed and interact with elephants in their natural home.
- Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit.
- Walk with the elephants to the waterfall for a mud bath with elephants
- Swim in the waterfalls.
- Rest at pleasure and chance to meet elephants again.
- Dinner and evening rest.
